Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We have two biomechanics graduate assistantships available starting in
the Fall 2006 semester. Both positions are supported through a grant
from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) investigating human aging
and locomotion. The students will work in the Biomechanics Laboratory in
the Department of Exercise and Sport Science as they pursue a Master's
Degree. The program of study lasts two years although some recent
students have completed all requirements in 1.5 years. Our graduates
have obtained employment in the health and medical fields or have
continued their education in medical or Ph.D. programs.
Please forward this note to any interested students or if you are
considering entering a graduate program in biomechanics, please contact
me about our program and opportunities.
Application forms can be found at the website for the Graduate School at
East Carolina University, http://www.ecu.edu/gradschool/ and other
information about our program can be found at the Lab website,
