    Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Biomechanics/Motor Control

    The School of Medical Sciences seeks to appoint an Lecturer/Senior
    Lecturer in Clinical Biomechanics/Motor Control to teach in its
    undergraduate Health and Exercise Science program and carry out research
    in biomechanics/motor control. The appointee will be required to teach
    biomechanics, clinical movement studies, and related areas.

    The salary range for Lecturer is A$65,028 - A$76,660 per year and Senior
    Lecturer is A$78,983 - A$90,615 per year (plus up to 17% employer
    superannuation plus leave loading), depending on qualifications and
    experience.

    This is a full time continuing position. The successful applicant may
    be required to undertake a criminal record check.

    Essential criteria: PhD or equivalent in exercise science or a related
    discipline; capacity for academic leadership in the discipline area; a
    significant record of achievement in independent research in the area of
    exercise science as evidenced by a record of publications in leading
    journals; record of excellent achievement in teaching and supervision at
    undergraduate and postgraduate levels; proven ability to attract
    nationally competitive research funding; proven record of successful
    interactions with appropriate professional organizations and relevant
    industry authorities; research focus overlapping with existing research
    programs in the Health and Exercise Science Unit; capacity and
    willingness to undertake administrative roles within the School; ability
    and willingness to contribute to the Unit's Lifestyle Clinic; an
    understanding of EEO/AA principles; knowledge of OHS responsibilities
    and commitment to attending relevant OHS training.
