Dear all,
We are in search of a device to determine the location (plus/minus ~2cm) of
a
heel strike (or center of pressure/position) during gait analysis, in
real time. No quantitative pressure, force, or moment readings are
necessary. Does anyone have such a device or know of where to obtain
one?
BACKGROUND:
Our motion analysis laboratory studies motion characteristics in
walking. We currently have two force plates embedded in the floor and
are looking to obtain the position (heel strike or center of
pressure/position) of a third foot step.
AIM:
To locate the position of a heel strike (or center of pressure/position)
in real time of a walking trial.
SPECIFICATION:
1) Real-time data
2) Resolution: plus/minus ~2cm
3) Size: ~40cm by 60cm ? one single foot step
Thank You,
Brooke Coley
