Hello,
I am currently using the Tekscan 5315 pressure mat to measure
the seatback force (pressure) distribution from a Hybrid III dummy during a
simulated rear end impact sled test (~150ms pulse, 10g max). I am having
some difficulties dynamically calibrating the mat so that the resulting
measured loads fall within expected values (i.e., F=ma where m is the mass
of the dummy and a=10g). The mat calibration seems very sensitive to load
magnitude and frequency. If anyone has experience using this mat for a
similar application, I'd very much appreciate your advice. Thank you.
