  • Tenure Track Faculty Position

    The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Catholic University of America (CUA), Washington, DC, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in biomedical engineering.

    The position is at the assistant professor level and requires a PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a related field, commitment to teaching and potential for conducting innovative research in biomedical engineering.

    Qualified individuals with expertise in one of the following fields of bioengineering are encouraged to apply: biomechanics, instrumentation, imaging, biomaterials, rehabilitation engineering, and telehealth/telemedicine.

    The Department of Biomedical Engineering at CUA, one of only 32 ABET accredited undergraduate programs, also awards masters and doctoral degrees in biomedical engineering. The department has strong research ties with the neighboring National Rehabilitation Hospital, the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration and other nearby institutions.
