  • Shouldn't we distinguish between electrodes and electronicsensors?

    Dear all,

When I did my masters treatise ("An ergonomic assessment of the design
of a segmented computer keyboard, 1997") I had to warn the volunteers
that skin electrodes would be used (to measure muscle EMGs).

I got very few volunteers from the target workforce; for the many
drop-outs, a reluctance to go near electrodes was often cited as a
reason. Indeed even some of the volunteers asked to be reassured that
they would not receive any dangerous electric shocks (like
    Frankenstein's monster)!

Wouldn't it make more sense to use the term electro-sensors?

    Regards,
