    Joining us in our Biomechanics, Exercise & Nutrition Group, you'll play an
    active role in running a wide diversity of trials in biomechanics and
    exercise physiology, for a range of clients that include the MoD and large
    commercial companies. This is an excellent opportunity to be on the cutting
    edge. Not only will you be part of Europe's biggest human factors
    organisation, your work will also have a direct impact on the latest
    practices.



    You will contribute to and widen the expertise of the Biomechanics, Exercise
    & Nutrition Group by being involved in a wide range of projects relating to
    human physiology, with specific emphasis on using biomechanical techniques
    to assess human performance. You will have extensive experience of relevant
    laboratory techniques including motion capture, electromyography and
    accelerometry. You will be able to demonstrate experience of experimental
    design, presention of results, conclusions and recommendations from research
    in writing and orally as well as knowledge of statistical procedures
    required for data analysis.

    You will support the Team Leader in developing new business opportunties,
    and in interacting with potential and existing customers to determine
    requirements and develop work packages.



    Candidates should have at least an upper second class honours degree in
    Exercise Science or a biomechanics-related discipline and either a MSc with
    proven experience in biomechanics research, or an impending or recently
    completed biomechanics orientated PhD,. Those applicants with suitable
    experience in a commercial or clinical gait/motion capture lab will also be
    considered. You need to be medically fit to occasionally work in raised and
    lowered ambient temperatures during laboratory and field studies
