Movement Analysis Technician

Kessler Medical Rehabilitation Research and Education Corporation (KMRREC), located in West Orange, NJ, is seeking a Movement Analysis Technician to join its Human Performance and Movement Analysis research laboratory.

Responsibilities include recruiting and scheduling patients for studies; processing collected data using various software applications; creating content for websites and newsletters, and supervising other staff members in data collection/data processing procedures.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, anatomy, exercise physiology, physical therapy, or a related discipline; knowledge and experience in calibrating, collecting, processing, and managing kinematic data using the Vicon system; and exposure to data-gathering techniques and data processing. Additional requirements include excellent computer skills; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; and an interest in movement behaviors in adults. Knowledge and experience in calibrating and collecting force plate and EMG data is preferred.
