  • Invitation to webcast on posture and movement prediction

    Dear Subscribers,

I will be giving a free webcast presentation on a method of movement and
posture prediction based on musculoskeletal models on Monday, September 25,
2006. To accommodate viewers from different sides of the planet we are
running the presentation twice with 12 hours interval:

First show: 9am Central European Time, 3am Eastern Time.
Second show: 9pm Central European Time, 3pm Eastern Time.

The duration of the webcast is approximately one hour including questions.

It is a popular misconception that posture and movement prediction can only
be done with forward dynamics. In this webcast we show that inverse dynamics
is so computationally efficient that an optimization algorithm can be
wrapped around it and unknown postures and movements can be predicted based
    on performance criteria.

It is necessary to sign up to participate. Please do it here:

    Best regards,
    John
