Dear Experts,
I do clinical research in the veterinary field using a pressure-sensitive
walkway system. In a manner to improve my current methodology, I am looking
for a device able to capture velocity and acceleration when performing gait
analysis. Ideally, the triggered timer system (i.e.
speedometer/accelerometer) uses an infrared beam that initiate the time
recording when obstructed.
I already have photoelectric cells connected to computer/software for
conventional force plate analysis. However, the walkway system doesn’t seem
to have this opportunity.
I am looking for a movable speedometer/accelerometer suitable for gait
analysis.
Thanks for your help
