PhD Research Studentships
(full-time for 3 years)
Health- or Sport-related Biomechanics
Bursary: £12,300 per annum
Please note: European Union residents will have their fees paid in full. Non-EU residents will have to pay an additional student fee of approximately £6800 per annum.
The Centre for Sport & Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University, UK (http://www.shu.ac.uk/cses/) is looking to appoint PhD research students to undertake research in Health- or Sport-related Biomechanics and Sports Engineering.
Applicants should have experience and a good BA or BSc (Hons) degree or Master's degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Physiotherapy, Computer Science, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. An interest in Health- or Sport-related biomechanics and the applied sciences is essential. Data analysis experience (Microsoft Excel, Matlab) and programming skills (preferably Visual Basic, Matlab or C++) are desirable.
