  • Measuring and training eccentric plantar flexor strength

    Dear readers,

I am interested in assessing and training concentric & eccentric strength of the plantar flexors at different velocities up to at least 300 deg/sec as well do an isometric MVC. I would also like the options of testing passive tension at 1 (or 5) deg/sec or at a pre-determined torque (10-15 Nm) and possibly to a set ROM. I have limited funds to do this and therefore am looking for cost effective methods. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I will post a summary of responses.

    Thank you in advance,
