    Occupational Biomechanics Engineer:
    Engineering Associate

Dynamic consulting firm in Oregon seeks an experienced and highly motivated
individual for a growing litigation practice in occupational injuries.
Candidates must be experienced and accomplished in the acquisition, analysis
and interpretation of ergonomic data to assess causation of a wide range of
occupational injuries. Typical cases involve manual materials handling,
work on railroads and marine vessels, cumulative trauma disorders, and slips
and falls. Experience with static and dynamic musculoskeletal force
prediction models for the low back, shoulder and whole body is required.
Experience with job site evaluation a definite plus. Candidates will be
expected to support an expanding portfolio of litigation-driven occupational
injury cases that will typically require site inspections, job analysis, and
the generation of scientific reports addressing injury causation. MS in
ergonomics or occupational biomechanics required. Recent Ph.D. graduates in
closely related fields will also be considered. Successful candidates will
also have demonstrated the ability to incorporate critical reviews of
available literature in the formulation of conclusions. Starting Salary is
commensurate with educational level and experience. Full benefits and,
after one year, the possibility of a profit-sharing/incentive plan are also
    available.
