The School of Physical Education, Sport, and Exercise Science at Ball
State University seeks a candidate for a tenure track faculty position
in the school's Biomechanics program. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to: teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in
biomechanics and kinesiology; developing an externally funded research
program in area of expertise, advising graduate students, and directing
master's theses.
Minimum qualification:
* Earned doctorate in biomechanics or closely related field on or
before the first date of employment.
Preferred qualifications:
* Evidence of scholarly productivity through peer reviewed
publications, presentations, and successful grantsmanship in area of
expertise;
* Demonstrated ability of teaching undergraduate and graduate
students in biomechanics and/or kinesiology
* Research interests compatible with a clinical biomechanics
program
* Strong interdisciplinary interests
