Second Call for Papers
Dear friends and colleagues:
We are going have the symposium "Postural control in the workplace" as a
special session in the International Society of Biomechanics XXI
Congress, July 1-5, 2007, in Taipei, Taiwan (ISB2007). Our goal is to
provide an open forum for experts around the world to present, discuss,
and argue their latest findings in the field of occupational
biomechanics and exchange the research ideas. The covered topics of
this special symposium will focus on the biomechanics of working posture
and movement. It will include all aspects related to the kinematic and
kinetic investigations of manual materials handling tasks, hand tool
use, and low intensity repetitive tasks such as assembly work and
computer work. In addition, it will include balance control in standing
and walking at work.
The abstract can be submitted online or e-mailed directly to the program
organizers listed below. For abstract preparation, please refer to the
ISB2007 conference website at http://www.isb2007.org The deadline for
abstract submission is January 15, 2007. Notification of acceptance
will be by March 15, 2007.
