Springer has published Tissue Mechanics, a textbook by Stephen C.
Cowin and Stephen B. Doty. With the permission of Springer,
downloadable copies of the first two chapters are available at
http://tissue-mechanics.com/. At this website there are also a table
of contents for the textbook, a description the text and other
supplemental, downloadable, files. In particular there are PowerPoint
presentations for most of the book's chapters. These PowerPoint files
will be updated each time the relevant material is taught by the
authors or people using or reviewing the material make suggestions.
