Northeast American Society of Biomechanics (NEASB) Conference 2007
The deadline for abstract submission and FREE registration for the Northeast
American Society of Biomechanics (NEASB) conference is JANUARY 31. Please
go to http://www.hhp.umd.edu/KNES/faculty/jkshim/NEASB for registration and
abstract submission instructions.
The conference intends to provide a welcoming environment for graduate
students to present their research and get feedback from peer students and
faculty. The theme of this year’s conference is “BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN
BIOMECHANICS AND MOTOR CONTROL". Abstracts from outside of the conference
theme are strongly encouraged and will be accepted.
Respected scholars in Biomechanics and Motor Control including Dr. STEVEN
STANHOPE and Dr. VLADIMIR ZATSIORSKY will give the keynote addresses. We are
also happy to announce that Dr. MARY RODGERS (past president of
International Society of Biomechanics) will deliver the opening remark and
Dr. MARK LATASH (past president of International Society of Motor Control)
will deliver a tutorial on “Uncontrolled manifold analysis in studies of
human posture”. In addition to podium and poster presentations, the
conference will feature FREE LABVIEW TUTORIALS by a few experts from
National Instruments Corp.
