POSITION: This is a 9-month position with summer teaching possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate athletic training
classes, advise students, conduct collaborative and independent
research, mentor student research and engage in department, college,
university and professional service. Other duties as may be assigned.
THE DEPARTMENT: The Athletic Training Department contains: a
CAATE-accredited entry-level Bachelors program, an NATA-GRC accredited
Master's program and provides healthcare to student-athletes through
Athletic Training Services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals meeting the criteria at either rank by the
date of opening are encouraged to apply. Qualifications for each rank
are:
Associate Professor: An earned Doctorate, current NATA-BOC
certification, significant progress in a tenure track position,
evidence
of effective teaching, an established research agenda with a
publication
record, and service to the academy and profession are required.
Assistant Professor: Doctoral candidate (ABD), current NATA-BOC
certification, teaching experience, and a line of research that has
the
potential to yield a publication record are required.
For the Assistant Professor Rank, preference will be given to an
individual who has an earned doctorate. Preference will be given to
individuals who have cadaveric anatomy dissection and manual therapy
teaching experience. Current state credential, if applicable, and
eligible for Indiana State Licensure at time of appointment.
SALARY: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
