You will play a part in delivering Leeds' vision to become one of the world's leading universities by conducting research of importance to society and contributing to the development of outstanding graduates and scholars. The Centre is housed in newly refurbished space with interests including movement development and upper limb function, muscle bioenergetics, control of ventilation, exercise and cardiovascular health in women, and mechanisms of exercise intolerance in disease. The Centre benefits from associations across the Faculty and through links with Psychology, Education, Medicine, and Mechanical Engineering. An attractive recruitment package will be offered to a high-calibre candidate for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, subject to qualifications and experience.
The Faculty is seeking a scientist with an international reputation, a strong track record of research into the biological sciences relevant to the existing research strengths of the Faculty, and experience of leading a scientific team. The position is available immediately.
