Postdoctoral Researcher in Exercise / Health Biomechanics

36.5 hours per week
The post holder will conduct research in the area of biomechanics of trip
recovery and fall prevention. You will have a doctorate thesis completed
or nearing completion. A sound knowledge of experimental techniques,
computer simulation modelling, research design, advanced statistical
methods, and the ability to analyse data for publication is essential.
Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, the post holder will also be
expected to develop links with local health agencies to support the
development of new projects for publication and in order to secure external
funding. The position is initially funded for one year, although the
successful applicant will be encouraged to work with other staff to secure
further funding to continue this line of work.
Start Date: 1st April 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter
