the Virtual Reality and Postural Orientation
Laboratory of Dr. Emily Keshner at Temple
    University, Philadelphia PA. The successful
candidate will participate in NIH funded research.
Projects include both experimental and modeling
approaches to the effects of visual motion on the
adaptive properties of human postural control and
locomotion in healthy subjects and in subjects who
have had a stroke. Opportunities exist for

    grant writing, and internal funding.

The position requires a recent PhD or equivalent in
    neuroscience, biomedical engineering or
biomechanics. Previous experience working with human
subjects is preferred. Experience with a clinical
population would be helpful. A record of performing
research in one or more of the following areas is
required: motor control, biomechanics, or biomedical
engineering. Some laboratory experience with a
motion analysis system, force platforms, and
electromyography is preferred. Knowledge of MatLab
and some programming experience if required. The
individual must supply evidence of writing ability
    through publications or doctoral dissertation.
