Graduate Assistantships are available at the Master's level in several
research areas at the University of Memphis . The Health and Sport
Sciences Department offers 11 laboratories for educational and research
purposes. Together these labs provide students in the areas of
nutrition, exercise science, health promotion, physical education
pedagogy, and sport and leisure management with opportunities to learn
and apply their research skills, conduct thesis research, and
collaborate on projects with clinicians, researchers, faculty in other
academic departments and professionals within the urban community.
