Research Fellowship in Bone Mechanobiology
(Camden Campus - London, UK)
Applications are invited for a 2 year research Fellowship in Bone mechanobiology to study bone's response to mechanical loading. This post will be ideal for a post-doctoral scientist with at least 3 years post doctoral experience of working in the bone field wishing to join the College's academic staff and develop as an independent researcher work. You will work initially under the mentorship of Professor Lance Lanyon and other senior academics in the bone research group.
The successful applicant will be provided with start-up funding to generate pilot data in this area and will be expected to apply for competitive research fellowships and/or project grant funding in their own name.
The salary provided will start from £29,028 plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance, depending on qualifications and experience, and eligibility to join the Universities Superannuation Scheme, (which is 14% employer contributed).
