    Dear All,

    It was very difficult to hear about, and hard to accept, the loss of our friend and colleague.

    I had the pleasure of getting to know Kevin through our interaction as graduates of the same lab. Even though he had a busy schedule with family and work, he was always willing to take time to discuss your current work and offer suggestions and encouragement. Kevin was a good friend and an example to many of us in the OSU Biodynamics lab of what could be accomplished through intellect and hard work. He will be greatly missed, most of all for his kindness, intelligence and humanity.
