NEW: MCGILL MEDICAL SIMULATION CENTER TOUR

Opening its doors on September 2006 and with more than 16,000 sq.ft. of space, the McGill Medical Simulation Center is now the largest of its kind in Canada. It is fully integrated into McGill's professional programs and provides training facilities for the next generation of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

1-Minimally Invasive Technologies
Overview of minimally invasive technologies including minimally invasive surgery and catheter-based procedures. Multiple examples will be presented from cardiology, gastroenterology, urology and other specialties.

2-Combination Products: Devices, Drugs and Genes
Provides an overview of combination products and the benefits and challenges in combining drugs and genes with medical devices. Additional testing and regulatory requirements are discussed.
