  • Visiting Professor Position Available - UNC Charlotte

    Dear Colleagues,



    A 9-month Visiting Professorship position is available in the Department
    of Kinesiology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
    commencing August 15, 2007.



    The primary responsibilities of this individual will be to teach
    specialized courses at the undergraduate level in Exercise Science, as
    well as graduate courses in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Additionally,
    this individual is welcome to collaborate with Department faculty who
    are engaged in their various research programs. The Department of
    Kinesiology (http://www.health.uncc.edu/knes) is a dynamic unit with an
    interdisciplinary focus. It is one of 5 academic departments / units
    within the College of Health and Human Services. Its programs include:
    a CAATE-accredited entry-level Athletic Training program, an
    undergraduate Exercise Science program, and Master's program in Clinical
    Exercise Physiology. Additionally, the Department has faculty
    affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Biomedicine Ph.D program
    (http://www.bioweb.uncc.edu/ ) and the Health Services Research Ph.D
    program

    Additionally, the Department houses brand new Exercise Physiology /
    Exercise Genomics Research Laboratory, and a Biodynamics Research
    Laboratory both of which are 2500ft^2 in area.



    Qualifications: A doctoral degree in Exercise Science, Exercise
    Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field is required. Candidates who
    are ABD will also be considered for this position. Additional clinical
    certifications in Exercise Science / Exercise Physiology (i.e. ES, RCEP,
    CSCS, etc...) are preferred.



    The salary will be competitive and commensurate given the nature of this
    appointment.
