Dear Colleague,
Apologies if you are receiving this mail more than once. A symposium on
"Bio-signal Processing and Networked Sensors in Healthcare" will be
held in conjunction with the 3rd International Conference on Intelligent
Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing - 2007 (ISSNIP
2007), Melbourne, Australia during December 3-6, 2007. The symposium
will focus specifically on intelligent sensors, signal processing and
smart systems for healthcare applications; from biomedical diagnostic to
online patient monitoring.
The convergence of biomedical sensors, sensor networks and information
processing creates exciting opportunities for solving a variety of
complex problems in healthcare. The aim of this symposium is to report
research and recent developments in applications of scientific
principles and technologies to biomedical engineering and healthcare.
The program committee is soliciting papers for the following (but not
limited) areas:
* Bio-inspired models
* Biomechanics and biometrics for health applications
* Bio Signal Processing and Non linear analysis
* Biosensors, sensor design, sensor fusion for improved diagnosis
* Computational intelligence (Neural networks, fuzzy logic, genetic
algorithms, support vector machines and hybrid systems) for biomedical
applications
* Gait and movement analysis
* Medical imaging and diagnosis
* Patient tracking and monitoring
Areas of application (not limited to):
* Ageing healthcare (falls prevention in the elderly, Stroke,
Parkinson's and other pathologies)
* Disease diagnosis (cardiovascular, neuromuscular, cerebral, gait,
sleep apnea)
* Healthcare monitoring systems (incl. fetal health monitoring)
* Human computer interface
* Rehabilitation
Please submit papers via the conference online submission system at
www.issnip.org . All
submitted papers will undergo double-blind review process
prior to acceptance.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- Conference Dates: December 3-6, 2007
- Submission Deadline: July 31, 2007
- Notification of acceptance: August 31, 2007
- Camera ready manuscript: September 17, 2007
Kind regards
