  • Fw: Soft tissues and gait analysis

    Dear Biomch-l readers:

I am trying to study the best cluster of markers to minimize the effect of
the soft tissues but it is being a difficult work (more competent
researchers have been demonstrating these difficulties: Schache, Baker and
Lamoreux - Schache AG, et al., Influence of thigh cluster configuration on
the estimation of hip axial rotation, Gait Posture (2007),
    doi:10.1016/j.gaitpost.2007.01.002 ).

I would like to know if to consider that the knee flexion/ext. axis stays
perpendicular to the laboratory's sagital plane during an "ideal gait
    cycle" is plausible.

    Thank you for your attention.
I apologize for the digressions without scientific foundations.

    Best Regards,
