Greetings from Boston.
I am looking for a linear slide table that will allow free translation in X and Y but constrain movement in Z (assume X and Y define the plane of your desk and Z is normal to it).
Preferred specifications: roller bearings (or other method to minimize friction), +/- ~2" travel in X and Y, support for +/- ~2500N in Z, low profile, stock part with threaded holes for easy mounting to existing fixturing.
There is a lot of information at GlobalSpec, but I have not found exactly what we're looking for.
Before I draw this and have it manufactured, can anyone recommend a supplier?
Thank you
John Muller
