    Tenure-Track Faculty Position (Assistant or Associate Professor
    Level) in Biomedical Engineering
    at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

    The Faculty of Engineering at Dalhousie University invites
    applications for a tenure-stream position (Assistant or Associate
    level) in Biomedical Engineering with the primary appointment in
    Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

    The successful candidate will have a Ph.D in Electrical or Mechanical
    Engineering or a related discipline, and be a highly motivated
    researcher interested in joining a hearing research and product
    development team. This position has substantial administrative
    responsibilities.

    The appointee will have access to over $1.5 million of new, state-of-
    the-art vibration and hearing testing research equipment. There will
    be substantial interaction with patients, surgeons, and a team of
    technicians and audiologists.

    The ideal candidate will have strong signal analysis and/or
    mechanical engineering skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit,
    experience in industry and with product development. Eligibility for
    registration with the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova
    Scotia is considered essential. The ability to establish and attract
    grant-funded research programs as well as some experience with
    medical technologies would be beneficial.
