POSITION AVAILABLE: Biomechanist / Biomedical Engineer

LOCATION: Birmingham, Alabama
The American Sports Medicine Institute has an immediate opening for a biomechanist or biomedical engineer. This is a permanent, full-time position. The successful applicant will participate in motion analysis research of baseball players and other athletes, mechanical testing of cadaveric specimens, and computer programming.
Minimum educational requirement is a bachelor's degree in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or a related field. Experience in C, MatLab, or similar computer language required (C preferred). Experience with material testing (MTS system, Instron, etc.), preferred but not required. Experience and interest in sports and motion analysis are preferred.
