  • Harness system for gait

    Dear all,

We are constructing a sloped walkway to study tactile paving surfaces as
a risk factor for trips and falls. We need to install a harness system
into our lab and are surprised by the apparent lack of commercially
available systems. We have seen a SOLOSTEP system, but failed to find
another specific to gait studies (there are lots of harness systems for
use in other applications such as construction sites but these do not
have good reports). We know some labs have built their own harness
apparatus but we would prefer to purchase a system with health and
    safety certification already in place.

We would welcome any suggestions for alternative systems and experiences
    of using harness systems.

    Thanks

    Chris
