POSITION: Product Manager Human Motion at Xsens Technologies. This is a
new position, reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing and
follows on from strong growth within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and execute growth strategy of the Human
Motion-Biomech market segment for Xsens. Identify and follow-up on
market and technology trends. Work closely with engineering and other
business functions on new product development, including setting of
specification guidelines. Support sales force in product introductions,
coordinate with R&D, Operations departments. Market communications.
Prepare all necessary product documentation for sales support purposes.
Execute price policy. Occasionally visit customers and industry events
(international travel approx. 10% of time).
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum BA education level. At least 3 years of relevant
working experience in a marketing or sales job in a technical
business-to-business environment, preferably in the medical supply
industry. Affinity with the medical world in general and the
biomechanics industry in particular. Excellent knowledge of English
(ideally also other common language). Ability to guide colleagues.
Project management skills. Analytical skills / comfortable in handling
numbers. Excellent communication skills. Self steering, but also a team
player. Persistent, focused on long term results.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
THE COMPANY: Xsens Technologies in The Netherlands is the designer and
supplier of the MTx inertial measurement unit, which can be used on a
human body to measure heading and orientation of body segments and
display these digitally in real-time. Recently the company introduced
the Moven motion capture suit, which captures 6DOF motion data of a full
human body. The company has close ties to the global scientific and
medical world.
LOCATION: Enschede, the Netherlands, is a thriving community of
approximately 150,000 people in the eastern part of the country. It
houses both the Twente University of Technology and the renowned
Roessingh rehabilitation center. Enschede is located 70 miles from
Amsterdam.
