    The Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation at Utah State
    University is pleased to announce a tenure-track position at the rank of
    associate or full professor in Exercise Science. Candidates with an emphasis
    in Biomechanics are encouraged to apply. Details of the position can be

    Position Summary
    A tenure-track (nine-month) position is available in Physical Education in
    the Exercise Science Track with an emphasis in strength and conditioning,
    biomechanics, or exercise physiology. Candidates should have a specialty in
    one of the three emphasis areas. Department faculty work in a three
    curriculum department that emphasizes research, teaching and service.

    Responsibilities
    Establish a research agenda which includes grant proposal writing and
    publishing high quality research in area of expertise.
    Teach undergraduate or graduate courses in area of expertise.
    Serve and chair graduate student committees provide service to community,
    university, state and profession.

    Salary
    Salary is nationally competitive and includes an excellent benefits package.

    Starting Date
    August 2008
