  • Faculty Postion - Prosthetics and Orthotics

    The University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in a new Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics educational program. This person will have the opportunity to assist in the planning and implementation of the new program. The ideal candidate would have ABC certification as a CP or CPO, an advanced degree (MS or PhD), prior clinical experience and teaching experience in the prosthetics and orthotics profession, and a strong interest in working in an academic environment with responsibilities for teaching, service, research, and scholarly activity. The duties of this position can begin as early as January, 2008. Applications should include (1) a curriculum vita, (2) a letter of interest, and (3) three letters of recommendation. Review of applications will begin December 1, 2007. Recruitment will, however, continue and applications will be reviewed with full consideration until the position is filled.
