ASSISTANT OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, BIOMECHANICS:
The Indiana University Department of Kinesiology, School of HPER,
invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate
Professor position in the area of Biomechanics. The position will be
available in August, 2008.
Qualifications include doctorate in biomechanics or related field,
publications in appropriate journals, and demonstrated ability to
attract external funding. Preference will be given to candidates with
research emphasis in gait analysis, sport or workplace injuries,
ergonomics, or musculoskeletal modeling.
Responsibilities include: Maintain a research program in biomechanics,
publish research in refereed journals, acquire external funding to
support research activities, advise graduate students, direct master's
theses and doctoral dissertations, and teach courses in biomechanics
and related topics.
