Biomedical Engineering. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in
Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline. While all
relevant areas will be considered, preference will be
given to candidates with biochemical or biomechanical
engineering research and experience. Potential areas of
interest related to biomedical engineering include, but
are not restricted to: biomaterials, biosensors,
bioreactions, tissue engineering, biofluid mechanics,
microfluidics, biomolecular engineering, biomolecular
devices, and bioprocess technology. Successful applicants
will be expected to develop strong extramurally funded
research activities and show a clear commitment to
undergraduate training in a highly integrated and
interdisciplinary environment. Review will begin on
12/3/07 and will continue until the position is filled.
