    POSITION AVAILABLE

    Position:
    Exercise Science, Associate/Assistant Professor

    Qualifications:
    Ph.D.in Exercise Physiology or related Exercise Science field by August 2008 for rank at Assistant level. ACSM and/or CSCS Certifications are valued. The committee is seeking demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college and/or university level, fieldwork/internship supervision, evidence of active scholarship, and commitment to professional growth. Qualified candidates who can contribute, through their teaching, research, and/or service to the diversity and excellence of the academic community are urged to apply.

    Responsibilities:
    Teaching Exercise Physiology, Fitness Assessment, and other coursework in our newly revised Exercise Science curriculum including emphases in Clinical Exercise Science and Health Fitness Instruction. Responsibilities also include student advising, assisting in the development of a fitness/performance assessment service program, scholarly activity with students, and assistance
    in obtaining CAAHEP accreditation. Additional responsibilities include service to the department, university, community, and profession. Additional responsibilities include service to the department, university, community, and profession.

    Salary:
    Commensurate with experience
