    Physical Therapy Program
    Faculty Position

    The faculty of the Physical Therapy Program is seeking a
    dynamic individual to join our Doctorate in Physical
    Therapy Program.

    9-Month Tenure-Track Appointment

    Primary responsibilities will include teaching
    courses in areas of expertise and advising students
    in their research activities. Opportunities exist
    for clinical research in collaboration with local
    medical centers.

    Academic title will depend upon qualifications and
    experience. A dual academic appointment will be
    obtained at Hunter College and the Graduate Center
    of CUNY. A doctoral degree is required and the
    candidate must also be eligible for a New York State
    License in Physical Therapy, have five years of
    clinical experience and have direct student
    supervision experience. Teaching and research
    experience is preferred.

    The Hunter College Physical Therapy Program is a
    3-year clinical doctorate program within the School
    of the Health Professions and the City University of
    New York Graduate Center. The Program has an
    excellent reputation in the physical therapy
    community. We continue to attract a diverse group of
    high-caliber students. The Program is accredited by
    the Commission for Accreditation of Physical Therapy
    Education through 2016. Institutional support and
    financial base are exceptionally strong. We have
    strong clinical and research collaborations with
    select sites in New York and New Jersey. We are
    presently engaged in collaborative research with The
    Hospital for Special Surgery and New York University
    Medical Center, plus additional research
    collaborations are being developed. Our program is
    located on the east side in mid-town Manhattan
    between NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center and the
    Veteran's Administration Hospital with easy public
    transportation access.

    Rank and salary for the above-mentioned position is
    commensurate with education and experience. We
