    Applications are invited by the Orthopedic Biomechanics and Motion
    Analysis Laboratories at Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN, for a postdoctoral
    training position. This fellowship will provide the opportunity to work
    on projects involving the study of: 1) upper extremity biomechanics; 2)
    biomechanics of hip fracture repairs; and/or 3) MRI analysis of
    cartilage.

    The training position is available for a two year period. The training
    period may be extended to three years for exceptional candidates.
    Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. or M.D. along with an educational
    background in engineering (biomedical, mechanical, electrical) or
    physics. Experience with Matlab is required. Previous experience with
    soft-tissue/total joint testing and computational modeling is desirable,
    as is experience working with clinical staff in the medical field.

    Successful candidates will be selected on the basis of academic record,
    research experience, career goals, letters of recommendation and
    motivation for a career in rehabilitation research. Women and

    ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must also be a citizen or non-citizen national
    of the United States or must have been legally admitted as a permanent
    resident.
