Shriners Hospitals for Children, Philadelphia, PA, is a leading
pediatric hospital specializing in the treatment of children with
neuromuscular disorders. We are seeking qualified applicants for a
unique research position involving the study of novel interventions to
improve physical functioning of children with neuromuscular impairments
including interventions that involve functional neuromuscular
stimulation, and activity-based rehabilitation including cycling, and
land and water treadmill training.
A Masters or Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and 3 years
of experience is required. Prior experience working with populations
with spinal cord injury and/or cerebral palsy is desirable. Applicants
should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills and a
strong desire to perform clinical research. Applicants should send a
