Job Opportunity: Senior Laboratory Instructor & Manager of BME Labs, Worcester Polytechnic Institute Department of Biomedical Engineering

Description: Teaching Biomedical Engineering Laboratory courses and serving as the Manager of BME Labs.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
* Organize and supervise lab TAs.
* Organize, test and produce curriculum material for all instructional lab courses.
* Prepare schedules and teach lab courses.
* Work with Lab Manager to prepare supplies and equipment.
* Work with faculty to coordinate and improve lab courses.
* Assist in the preparation of educational grants.
* Perform annual MQP reviews.
* Assist with ABET related activities.
* Serve as the departmental liaison to the Admissions Office.
* Other duties as required.
Requirements
* PhD degree preferred.
* Broad-based background in Biomedical Engineering.
* Minimum of two years experience with laboratory teaching and supervisory work.
* Knowledge and experience in tissue engineering, biomechanics, computer-based data acquisition, instrumentation, cell/tissue culture
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong writing and management experiences.
