Laboratory. The fellow will assist with ongoing NIH funded projects in
ACL injury research and in developing new protocols in musculoskeletal

A post-doctoral fellowship position is open for studies investigating
prospective risk factors for ACL injuries and developing injury
prevention training programs. Additional studies related to prevention
of common musculosekeletal injuries will also be undertaken. Studies
will involve motion analysis, forceplate, strength, postural alignment
and other human movement data.
A Ph.D. in athletic training, human movement, biomechanics or related
field is required. Prior experience with flock of birds motion analysis
systems, data reduction, and biomechanical injury prevention protocols
is desirable. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal
and good managerial skills, as well as a background in clinical patient
care.
Selected candidates will be subject to a security background
investigation for employment. If the selectee is unable to meet the
requirements of a background investigation, the tentative offer of
employment will be rescinded, or if employment has started, the selectee
may be discharged.
