expansion of our medical devices business we are seeking additional
specialists. BSI performs certification activity as a Notified Body
under the European Medical Devices Directive and offers complete
registration services for ISO 13485.
Product Specialists - Orthopaedic
All positions offer a competitive salary, pension and benefits
We are seeking dynamic individuals experienced within orthopaedic
medical devices to work within the Notified Body. As part of the
overall client management responsibilities, successful candidates will
be competent to review critical design data (including risk analysis,
biocompatibility, clinical investigation data and post market
surveillance information) and to prepare recommendations for CE
certification. With in depth medical device experience within an
industrial, academic or clinical background, a candidate's
qualifications should reflect a thorough understanding of the
technological considerations and manufacturing processes relevant to the
field in which he/she has worked.
The positions are ideally based at our Hemel Hempstead office although
there is potential to be home-based. Occasional travel will be required.
Whilst familiarity with the European medical devices approvals would be
an advantage, full regulatory and auditing training will be provided.
