    Research Technician Position (Full-Time)

    Human Neuromechanics Laboratory

    University of Michigan

    Ann Arbor, MI USA



    The Human Neuromechanics Laboratory at the University of Michigan is looking for a well organized, dependable individual to conduct biomechanics research, set up and troubleshoot equipment (including motion analysis systems, EMG, force platforms and robotic systems), write computer programs for real time control of robotic devices for assisting gait rehabilitation after spinal cord injury, and collect, analyze, and present experimental data. Additional duties will include conducting general library research; assisting laboratory staff with experiments; ordering equipment and supplies; and minor clerical work.



    Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Movement Science, Master's degree preferred. Experience with computer programming (Matlab, Simulink), electronics troubleshooting, robotics, machining and/or biomechanics research.



    Start Date: As soon as possible



    Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 US, with excellent benefits including retirement contributions
