Polhemus Fastrak and Matlab

I'm currently trying to capture streaming serial port data from the
Polhemus
Fastrak into Matlab.

I Can establish communication with fastrak and capture single ASCII
records,
but capturing continuous 32bit binary data is proving a little more
tricky.

Has anybody managed this already? Any scripts or pointers would be
greatly
appreciated.
