Postdoctoral-position, University of California, San Diego, Virtual Reality,
Robotics, Motor Control
Postdoctoral position available immediately to help set up a
state-of-the-art virtual reality (VR) lab for the study of motor control.
Equipment will include high-end haptic robots and a high-end head-mounted
display for immersive 3D visual and haptic stimulation. Both 3D limb
tracking and eye-tracking systems will be integrated into the VR system.
Experience in virtual reality, robotics, or movement tracking systems
required. Programming experience is highly desirable. Ongoing research
projects include studies of motor coordination and motor learning in healthy
individuals and in individuals with Parkinson's disease. Please send a CV, a
