Dear Colleagues,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using 3D motion
capture systems where the motion capture cameras themselves are in
motion. Perhaps on ships, aircraft, in space, or on simulator
platforms, etc.
We are interested in using a motion capture system for recording
motion of subjects on a moving simulator platform where the cameras
are mounted to the platform itself. The cameras will be mounted as
rigidly as possible, however we expect there to be some relative
motion of the cameras with respect to each other. Therefore, we will
need to calibrate the cameras continuously during our trials to
correct for the relative motion.
Does anyone have experience with this sort of application?
Many thanks,
Tilak
