The 3DMA-08 is the 10th biennial meeting of the Technical Group on 3-D
Analysis of Human Movement of the International Society of Biomechanics
October 28 till 31 2008 in Santpoort/Amsterdam, Netherlands.

- Abstract submission remains open till May 30th.
- Final keynote speaker is known: Prof. Michael Schwartz will honor us
with an exciting lecture!
The Technical Group on 3-D Analysis of Human Movement of the ISB
provides with its biennial meetings a forum for the discussion of all
issues relating to the measurement of human movement in three
dimensions.
The theme of this conference is 'Fusion works'. The theme equally
addresses the exciting current achievements and future challenges of the
established optometric and the new markerless and sensor based methods.
It also reflects developments merging motion capture layer and modeling
layers in all methodologies to improve body segment and joint kinematics
estimation to achieve the next leap forward in 3D movement analysis.
But most importantly it acknowledges the success of the past 9 meetings
as a platform for bringing together industrial and scientific
communities to discuss and facilitate the last 2 decades of innovation
in the field 3-D analysis of human movement.
