I am announcing a pre-doctoral fellow research position at the University of Virginia, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. I am actively recruiting a research assistant to provide services as a research study coordinator/ lab assistant in the sports medicine division of the Department of Orthopaedic surgery at the University of Virginia. The sports medicine division has multiple, ongoing research projects including multi-site clinical trials. This position would play and integral role in an active research agenda pertaining to neuromuscular outcomes following orthopaedic injury and prevention of knee osteoarthritis. This research assistant will be a full time doctoral student in Sports Medicine at the Curry School of Education, where I hold faculty status and would serve as the doctoral advisor. Stipend and tuition remission are available (pending final approval of funding).
The following are required:
* BOC certified athletic trainer
1 Licensed to practice or eligible in the state of Virginia
2 Admitted to the Curry School of Education graduate programs in sports medicine and athletic training
